Mrs. Wick worked with the 3rd graders on their Computer Science skills. Using Dash robots and blockly coding, students collaborated to construct programs. These programs creatively explained the purpose of various bones in their bodies.

In reader's workshop, the fourth graders started book clubs. We are researching different types of natural disasters. We have different jobs and will work together to create a presentation at the end of the unit. We are enjoying our book clubs!

The Wisconsin DPI and the Wisconsin RtI Center have recognized Forest Glen, Howard, Meadowbrook, and Lineville for successfully building a school-wide equitable, multi-level system of behavior supports aimed at closing achievement gaps. National research shows that full implementation of an equitable system leads to improved student outcomes.
The 4th graders at the Green Bay Community Campus competed in a holiday door decorations contest. The purpose of the competition was to work on the seven habits.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, seniors in nursing homes are not able to have visitors. Mrs. Gauthier works with a group of students who wanted to cheer these seniors up. They decided to make some holiday cards to bring some holiday cheer into the nursing homes.
Anaya, a third grade student at Meadowbrook, loves reading. She has been known to read more than a book a week! Anaya decided to take her love for reading a little further when she wrote to Dan Gutman, the author of the My Weird School series. She was thrilled when saw a reply in her email "inbox" from the famous author. What an unforgettable experience!

Meadowbrook students celebrated Veterans Day 2020 in a new and unique fashion. They took time out of their busy virtual schedules to make more than 100 cards and pieces of art to lift the spirits of our veterans.
